  Was really looking forward to my visit today .Have heard such good reviews .I'm not a local to the village but spend a lot of time in Eaglesham. The tea room is beautifully quaint and appears very organised with high standards.So I was very disappointed when greeted and seated and advised of tea menu etc. After 15-20 min wait no one came to the table to take our order. Despite newly arriving customers being served . Therefore we left . Very disappointed.

  I have never eaten in the wishing well myself but how you have handled the situation with the ex employee makes me want to stay well away from the wishing well. Why have you mentioned her last place of work surely that is none of your business. Also to name the employer to the public. I’m glad she is not working for you anymore. This story should be going to the papers.

  I would like to comment on a review left by Peter Pringles. As a manager at the Wishing Well Tearoom for over 6 years i can confirm these are incorrect! In no way was the tips going straight into the owners pockets. These comments are false, incorrect and hurtful! The staff throughout the years have worked hard and rightful earn the tips, and were rightful distributed when they were spilt everyday to the staff working that day (myself include). Even all the customer will back this up. Please dont let this comment judge your decision to go visit the Wishing Well Tearoom. Its a great wee business and the owners are brilliant people who did nothing other than treat me with respect and kindness.

  Very cozy, friendly atmosphere with excellent food, mouthwatering menu, home baking (freshly baked each morning on the premises) and affordable prices. Definitely would visit again.
